Starting in the early 2000s, Novus Cantus started with influences from bands including Jethro Tull, Rusted Root, Cat Stevens, and traditional flamenco and classical styles. The result of this blend is a style completely their own. Novus Cantus focuses on making music that is mixed organically, and relies little on electronic or synth sounds.
Novus Cantus is a TOTALLY independent musical duo that lives to make music that is complex, eclectic, and above all, unique.
