ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born in Queens NY in 1979, NYQE Unorthodox grew up with blind parents in the heart of "old school hip-hop", he fell in love with the craft. NYQE was largely influenced by the likes of "A tribe called quest", "Gang Starr", "Wu-Tang' & "KRS-ONE." He moved to Portland OR eventually and carried the heart of the east-coast with him. While growing up in Portland in the inner city during a hectic generation, creating music provided an avenue. That avenue allowed him to vent thru all the hardships of low income. To this day, the hardships of being a functional member of our society are captivated thru his beats and lyrics.
Music is, and always be a part of who he is!
