A great instrumental cd!!!
If you are looking for a really great recording w/ some really smooth guitar & piano this is it!!!! Dan's the man. The album is called, Over The Blue Edge.

This music takes you on a very tasteful journey. Dan's playing is superb on all of these pieces. I really did not expect to hear so much passion from this cd but I was pleasantly surprised. His music is very reflective & he places his instrumentations in all the correct places.

The guitar elements are really delicate and beautiful. Some people play guitar harshly at times and this can be a bit hard on the ears. But, this guitar playing was right on the money! Very pensive & uplifting.

The piano weaves patterns effortlessly throughout the cd. I am not at all surprised that Dan has a large following.

My favorite track has to be, Riding The Clouds! Closely followed by, Early Snowfall. Also, very moving was, Reverie On A Spring Morning. Another beautiful track was Beyond The Fields We Know. This is SOLO piece played on the low F whistle! my hope is only that Dan will feature even more of his whistle playing on his future albums (smile).

Lastly, if you are interested in a great recording with lots of passion with guitar & piano then this cd is for you! Since he has atleast 5 recordings. Remember to buy not just this one but, ALL OF THEM!

There's Beauty Over the Blue Edge
Dan has poured his pensive and light-filled soul into these songs that soothe and inspire. He's a talented multi-instrumentalist who weaves piano, guitar, and Irish whistle into a tranquel sonic tapestry that's perfect for meditation, painting, collaging, and daydreaming.
