Album Notes
This haunting, spectral album features an intriguing brew of electronically manipulated sounds: evanescent melodies, strange rhythmic ostinati, themes that recur in altered ways, distorted sounds. Like ghosts, much of the music is reincarnated in hidden ways throughout the album. With elements of Tori Amos and Nine Inch Nails, the music constantly surprises, at times beautifully plaintive and other times throbbing with a jagged passion. Of special interest is "Music of the Spheres," composed entirely of musical sounds recorded by the University of Iowa from outer space.

All songs produced, arranged and performed by Jon O'Bergh except:
"Strange Fruit" -- based on song written by Lewis Allan (Music Sales Corporation)
"Gymnopedie" -- based on composition by Erik Satie (Public Domain)

Songs featuring Ajamu Akinyele (bass, drums and arrangement): "Spectral Frequencies," "First Ghost Dance," "Fourth Ghost Dance," "Strange Fruit," "Gymnopedie," "Threnody," and "The Half Life of Cadmium Blue"
