Album Notes
Stand Tall is a song that mirrors the desire of our heart: to know that we somehow matter in the great scheme of things and that as we journey through life... we are not alone. When a parent reassures her child that angels are round about to lend a helping hand such an idea engenders hope and strength in the individual and his/her circumstances. I received an email from someone who had bought our "Favorites" album with Stand Tall on it. They felt this song spoke to needs of their friend who was dying of cancer. In the email we learned that they rushed over and gave him the CD. He repeatedly played Stand Tall for the remaining two weeks of his earthly life. He requested Stand Tall be played at his memorial service. Surely the angels were there to lift him high and they will you too, as you listen to this song of encouragement. Performed by the Apostle Credo Band, Theodore takes the lead with David Hooten and Jackie Odum harmonizing. David plays electric guitar and Jackie rounds out the acoustic sound with his booming Martin D-35.
