Album Notes
Ogressa is a new spin off band featuring some very heavy veteran desert / stoner rock musicians. Guitarist / songwriter Zach Huskey (from 20 year desert rock veterans Dali's Llama), Trent Ramseyer - lead vocals (Whores of Tijuana), Ian Dye - drums and percussion (Ape Has Killed Ape), Mike Jacobson - bass (Hot Beat Pussy Fiend) and on a few songs Scott Reeder - bass (Kyuss, Goatsnake, etc) and Joe Dillon - guitar (Hot Beat Pussy Fiend, Dali's Llama).

Ogressa "Warts And All" is a heavy down tuned desert rock dream come true for fans of such bands as Sleep, Kyuss, Boris, Goatsnake, Clutch, and all things Black Sabbath-ish. This is also a bass lovers and all low end junkie's feast for the ears. Songs about ogres, witches and wizards, but also more realistic issues/ideas as well like emotional isolation, debunking irrational nonsense, and fun stuff too like ranting against the workplace, human evolution and girlfriends with snakes on their head. This collection of songs is about as heavy as you can get while still sounding like songs (plus Trent is a excellent vocalist who does not sing in the "cookie monster" style). This project was put together by Zach - he wrote the songs and presented them to this hand picked group of heavy rock vets. The album was recorded in at B@1 Studios in two days. Everyone of these guys has their own main band or musical project. Ogressa "Warts And All" is about in your face fun, or as the band likes to say "This is the heavy desert noise your mother warned you about!" Loud and ugly, have fun with it.

Let's not forget about the awesome cd art work by Sean "$killit" McEleny. Zach simply told him the name of the band, mentioned some snow and an ogress and Sean as usual came up with an incredible illustrated collection of art.

Physical CD contains a bonus track not available by Digital Download. The song is called "The Boss" and is a cover song originally performed by The Mutants, written by Tom Morwatts (Honesty In Rock Publishing).
