ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Pianist Oksana

World-renowned Russian-born pianist and composer, Oksana Kolesnikova, does it all. A live performer; founder of a School of Music; musical collaborator; environmental activist through Cool Green, Oksana's character of sharing her passions in life shines through.

This passion towards her music and her fight against global warming reveals that she is much more than just a talented musician and composer. She is a compelling story of inspiration.

As a music teacher for piano, Oksana provides students of all ages a means for artistic outlet. "Being able to teach a variety of musical instruments through my School of Music makes me feel more complete as an artist and more accomplished as an individual," Kolesnikova said. Oksana recently expanded her school to include dancing and acting classes along with her existing schedule of music and instrument lessons.

Her talent and passion shine at the legendary Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel where she performs five days per week. Her moving performances have entertained and inspired U.S. Troops and U.N. Officials throughout Asia and Europe.

Oksana has recorded seven CDs and is a collaborator with accomplished, international musical artists. She believes that sharing the gift of music is her primary mission in life. Not only is she passionate towards sharing her love of music, but also in saving our environment and using her status to help the cause. "The fact that I am a public figure, ... my message can travel along with my music to thousands of people. I am honored to be spokesperson for Cool Green Fashion For Forests.

Oksana continues to be featured worldwide. From CBS 2 News in Los Angeles to PBS, HSN, FOX, TLC and MTV, her music and inspirational story have been shared with large audiences. Oksana is available for private lessons for young and adult students. Her eclectic collection of recorded works is available for purchase at her online store.
