Album Notes
Influenced by the Modern Jazz, with lots of accents
rock, "AMBER" by the self-taught pianist Omar El Ouaer is a
project of original compositions that moves away in a way
distinctive clichés. "It's not fusion although it's still
Tunisian jazz nurtured common and particular influences of
musicians, "says Omar El Ouaer.
This Project is moving away from clichés. The group will consist of a piano,
a bass and a drums that are the original instruments
jazz formations. "It's not fusion but really a
creation of Tunisian jazz nourished common influences and
musicians, "says Omar El Ouaer. " I am
in the constant search for a particular sound for this project. The
Tunisian song inspires me a lot and I find that the great
singers like "Saliha", "Naama" and many others have
helped to create a Tunisian song, very rich in
harmonies, rhythms and melodies. Myself with other artists,
we try to revisit and rearrange this rich repertoire for
lead to a sound borrowed from a cooler modernity and create a new wave Tunisian jazz music
