ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What do you get when you put four hyperactive young men in a band house for four years in the middle of the cold, isolated prairies, feeding them Zeppelin, Soundgarden, rare meat and Thin Lizzy? Maybe something like One Bad Son, who are about to take over the space between your ears.

In the age of lip-syched, backing-track-filled performances, One Bad Son is the real sweat and blood Rock and Roll deal. Their over the top live show takes from the Who, Zeppelin and the Stooges, and was captured for the first time in studio working with Default drummer Danny Craig in Vancouver.

'Rustbucket' is the leadoff single, combining the power of Zeppelin with the melodic sense of Chris Cornell.

'Retribution Blues' is the ultimate payback/party song, the audio embodiment of 'the best revenge is living well', in the vein of early AC/DC meets Wolfmother.

'Works and Days' is new territory for the band, a summer rock anthem combining influences of the Chili Peppers and Thin Lizzy.
