ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Communicae : Words As Weapons is Brooklyn rapper, One Dae's second feature full length release, via his own imprint Daelight Recordings. Featuring production from the likes of Grammy Award winner, M-Phazes (Eminem) and witty word play from the wordsmith himself, the LP delivers knocking production, coupled with insightful golden era inspired lyrics. One Dae attempts to bridge the gap between boom bap and the more progressive trap-inspired melodies of todays hip hop. While remaining true to the fundamentals of the craft, One Dae is able to push the boundaries of "Underground Hip Hop" and deliver a unique hybrid of head nod and progressive production. Per usual, the rhymes are insightful, witty and delivered with impeccable precision. Hip Hop lovers will rejoice at what feels like a renewed, classic take on boom bap hip hop. This often over looked, underground mainstay, delivers a hidden gem, in a time of over pushed mediocrity.
