Album Notes
One Week Later (O.W.L.) are a UK based duo, Richard Smith and Jane Broughton and their new EP ‘Things That Make No Sense’ has been recorded with a formidable backline of exceptionally talented musicians including drummer Perky Dudley, The Naylor Twins (Roy Wood's current backing vocalists) and BBS Brass who add some dynamic virtuoso brass playing.
The songs were recorded at Sinewave Studios in Tamworth Staffordshire, with studio engineer Alan Caves (former engineer for UB40, Roy Wood and Quill (UK) to name but a few).
On this EP One Week Later has written and recorded dance orientated songs that have a Nile Rodgers meets alternative pop rock sound, the combination gives a fresh perspective with foot tapping beats and quirky lyrics.
The three songs featured on the EP are ‘Things That Make No Sense’, ‘The Cage’ and ‘Forget The Plan’
