Album Notes
The true essence of Gospel music is simply sharing the message of Christ in song. Lord, I Can't Live Without You is a compilation of inspired melodies that will serve to usher its listeners into the presence of Our Savior.

Three of the signature songs on this album are "The Lord's Prayer," a new standard which resonates with powerful vocals and the electrifying trumpet of Pharez Whitted; "When She met Jesus," a wonderful tune based on the story of The Woman at the Well, features the dynamic voice of Tanita Gillum; and lastly, the title track, "Lord I Can't live without You," featuring the rich and resonant vocals of Everett Greene.

The individual responsible for this great music is Betty Mullens Hayes. Betty Hayes has dedicated a lifetime to gospel music. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, she has influenced countless lives as both an accomplished musician and pioneer within her local gospel community.

The group Ordinary People was founded in 1980. The members include: Betty Hayes, Founder and President; Marion Kelly, Baritone; Tanita Gillum, Soprano; George Hayes, Tenor; Tanya Henry, Alto; and Guy Hayes, Bass Guitar.

Over the years, this music ministry has traveled extensively throughout the Midwest with a primary focus on prisons, juvenile centers, and half-way houses.

Additional personnel who appear on this album include: Melvin Rhyne, Keyboards; Komoyaka King, Percussion; Tanya Joiner Vocals; Clifford Palmer, Saxophone; Pharez Whitted, Trumpet, Jan Aldridge-Clark, Harp; and Peter Kienle, Guitar.
