ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Organic! spent a week just before Thanksgiving 2005 tracking some new funky psychedelic-soul improvisations and compositions. Co-leaders Guitarist and John Cabán and keyboardist Bennett Paster subsequently “massaged” the tracks and, adding only minimal overdubs, molded them into new sound sculptures. Several of the long improvisations naturally flow from idea to idea, resulting in a connected suite of musical ideas, thus inspiring the name of the CD: Sweets. The recording captures the spirit of the trio's live performances. This is thier first release with their new drummer, Israeli sensation Yuval Lion.

Good atmosphere, open sounds. Organ grooves, electric vibes.
Great! If you like the music of Larry Goldings, John Scofield's cooperations with John Medeski and the B3, this CD (as well as their first 'The undoing') fits nice in your CD-collection. Good atmosphere, open sounds. Relaxing as well as exciting.
