ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My music is created to draw attention to the stories portrayed with my words. I primarily use the spoken word genre supported by music to get people to think about their circumstances. I use what I call practical poetry to develop a lyrical style to help people choose the words they require to express their feelings. America, the dream was written as President Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States of America. The emotions expressed serve as a time capsule of the United States, circa 2008. The listener should listen to the narrative and compare and contrast to our current reality.

Words are the instruments to illustrate our dreams and our emotions. They are used on the pallet to paint portraits and landscapes of our lives. I have collaborated with musicians who understand my intentions and their contributions are true enhancements to my art. Music has been added to this album (Remixed) to help the listener engage with the words and heighten the experience.
