ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This music reflects the experience of Basque immigrants to northern Wyoming over the past one hundred years. We have also included tunes from the Basque Country that are widely played in the Americas as well as three newly composed songs that arise from the experience of Basque Americans. Fifteen tracks are available for digital download. A sixteenth track--Mikel Laboa's Txoria Txori--is available only on the physical cd. The album is a not for profit production of Worlds of Music. All proceeds from sales go toward providing free public programs that feature musics from around the world.
