Album Notes
The long, long awaited sophmore release is here. Frontman C. Charles Bowden began recording a fictional concept album, that morphed into his own real life. While scores of music fans can name records that helped them through troubled times, C. Charles names the recording of his own record as a point of saving mental health.

A mixed drink of Young, Dylan, Dinosaur Jr., Wilco, Damien Jurado, and Richard Swift would get you some where near this amazing record.

The verge of collapsing
I bought this CD specifically for the song Walk With Me.I had heard just a small portion of it on the show Boston Legal and knew immediately I wanted to hear more by this artist.I ended up enjoying the entire CD and the two words that come to mind to describe the music ,"hauntingly beautiful." I look forward to following the music of Other Desert Cities.

Amazing record ! one of the best in 2006 so far...

In the song "Anthem", Leonard Cohen wrote :
"...There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in."

Other Desert Cities music and words fly across this crack...
