ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Boston's finest organ trio! Originators of "Runk" music.

Thermionic Emission is Otis Grove's 5th release. The band's first album with Brian Sayers on the drums, it also features guest appearances by DJ Mister Rourke and the Akashic Horns (Brian Thomas on trombone and Jared Sims on sax).

Sam Gilman plays a plethora of vintage keys throughout, including the custom Hammond organ formerly owned and played by the rock band "Kansas", Wurlitzer electric piano, and multiple synthesizers. The bass is played by Sam's left hand.

Tyler Wayne Drabick plays guitar through an amplifier custom built by himself, using components from vintage Hammond organs.

The album cover isn't fake.... that's Sam's real blood. Fittingly, this happened at a Halloween show.

Recorded and Mixed by Craig Welsch at Rear Window Studio, Brookline MA
Mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering, Newton MA
