ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and raised in Jamaica, Otis “I” spent most of my childhood life in Montego Bay, and now resides in Brampton, Ontario Canada to be exact. As a child I always had love and appreciation for reggae music. Growing up I always listen to dancehall and different cultural artist like, Brigadier Jerry, Charlie Chaplin, Early B (The Doctor) and his all-time favorite, Mr. Garnett Silk. It’s safe to say I was easily influenced. As Otis “I” perfected his craft throughout the years singing, songwriting and performing. My first single “SUPPOSE TO DO” which dropped back in 2005 became known in the Cultural Reggae world in Toronto. I started preforming with some of cultural reggae music brightest stars. Morgan Heritage, Luciano, Bush Man, Queen Ifrica, I Wayne, Everton Blender, Fantan Mojah and Sizzla Kalonji just to name a few. As the years went by my song book was expanded with songs like: The Rain, No Guns in it, Good Mood. My hit single Good Mood sound track was a part of the TV series DA Kink in My Hair “Series II” But Otis “I” was no longer. I took a break from the rise of fame for a bit to further my knowledge on righteousness which in detail.
Deep meditation “Meds of my four parents, ancestor and my Ancient Ethiopian, who has trade the pathway of righteousness, I all so began to further my research with books on world history such as, my life and “Ethiopia Progress” by Harold G Marcus and “Thought Vibration” by Victor Segno, “Promise Key” by Lenard P.Howell. Consciousness and Ancient Knowledge has always been a part of my life, but since this extensive research I now go by the name “Ras Malkam” means: (insert meaning) up fullness, in mind, body and soul, on a higher level of righteousness. My goal is to continue to write conscious music that will uplift, empower and liberate all humanity. Reggae music is a vehicle that is supposed to transport righteousness throughout the four corners of the earth. I am very passionate about conscious reggae music with a strong focused and more determine to spread the knowledge through music.
