Album Notes
Hi. If you're reading this, then I'm already dead. Kidding.

Aftermath is my first album to have my songs on it. I've recorded with original bands and cover bands going back to the mid-90s, but most of those projects were left unfinished due to break-ups and lack of funds. These 12 songs were recorded with northern Virginia bands The Lime Twiggs, The Ride, Lightfuse Getaway and Craig Toomey (now in New Orleans). They go back as far as 2004, but most of them were recorded or at least finished this year.

This album shares the finished products of these multiple recording sessions going back over 7 years in one compilation, thus the Aftermath title. The content of many of the songs relates to what happens when a relationship goes bad, and the aftermath of that whole scene. Sweet Surrender is also about an aftermath of a soldier's victory when the other side hardly provoked it and was hopelessly outmassed. There are some happy songs too but the songwriting gets a little silly when I try to be happy, so most of them have a hungover feeling to them. The cover photo shows my wife Diana the morning after her 30th birthday. So that fits in with the Aftermath theme.

Thanks to all the great musicians who helped me along the way, especially Craig Toomey, Clif Overby, Gene Kim, DA Buskell, and Zach Ladd.
