November 6, 2013 the world learned what his fans and friends have known all along; Oumi is an extraordinary and gifted guitar talent like no other. Winning the 2013 Australian Independent Music Award for Best Instrumental with his original score “The Adventures Of Johnny Stenchfoot” has proven that Oumi is capable to take the world by storm, and that is just what this Australian native plans to do.

A self-taught Conservatory dropout, he has figured it out on his own as a major label guitarist, film and TV composer, arranger, producer and songwriter. Oumi has worked with high profile artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus (Sony), Neon Hitch (Warner), Freddie Ravel (Verve/Universal), auditioned succesfully for post-hardcore heavyweights Love Hate Hero (Ferret), played alongside Grammy winning saxophonist Eric Marienthal, and has performed on bills with the likes of Van Halen, Aerosmith, Buckcherry and much more.

Whether it is rock, pop, country or r&b, Oumi has proven himself to be highly proficient across a broad range of styles. He has a natural ability and gifted touch that past guitar legends are made of. Oumi is now residing in Los Angeles, California, where he has already made his mark as a top level guitarist and caught the attention of many seasoned industry insiders. Oumi has signed management with long time music manager Vicky Hamilton (Geffen, Capitol A&R management Guns N Roses, Poison etc.) to help field offers.
