This is the One

Combination of acoustic pop and reggae sung real pretty. Lyrics are very strong and convey a searching quasi-hopeful vibe.

Album Notes
Owen Plant is a dynamic solo acoustic artist out of Boston who writes, arranges and performs touching original acoustic pop with a danceable upbeat Caribbean flavor. He has toured up and down the east coast, packing rooms from Vermont to Key West. Fans of David Byrne, Beck, Ben Harper and Dave Matthews discover and fall in love with Owen's sound.
Owen was exposed to Caribbean music on the island of Jamaica, where he was born and raised, but came of age as an artist in the U.S. His music incorporates his vibrant heritage and echoes the styles of music greats Paul Simon, Bob Marley and James Taylor, singer/songwriters who also went beyond acoustic-only music.

While the front man of the critically acclaimed, Boston-based band "Shake Senora," Owen expanded his acoustic repertoire to become a pop writer and performer, exploring and combining a variety of genres.

There is a timeless quality in his pure and powerful voice, honest lyrics and progressive guitar style that he communicates from the stage with a dynamic softness. Owen is this country's newest raw-talent troubadour.
