ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
PABLO CORRADINI QUINTET is a music instrumental project whose original was influenced by a incorporating a variety of music styles, mainly tango, jazz and Latin. The songs were inspired by the best exponents of tango Nuevo and the innovative atmosphere was created through the harmony of jazz and Latin rhythms.A combination of orchestration and improvisation gives the performance an original repertoire which appeals not just only to the connoisseurs but to all audiences.

The quintet is composed of Bandoneon (Pablo Corradini), Saxophone (Luca Di Giammarco), Piano (Alessandro Menichelli), Bass (Edoardo Petracci) and Drums (Luca Cingolani). The project has been extensively performed in theaters and festivals of jazz and world music both in Europe and Italy.

“BETANGO” was recorded at Nufabric studio in Fermo and was released in November 2014. It is composed of 11 tracks, all of them written by Pablo Corradini. The repertoire is a real musical journey, incorporating the features of tango nuevo and typical harmonies and improvisation elements from Jazz. The final result imparts a basic structure to the music, with migrant identity,
which the composer wishes to constantly develop and change.
