Album Notes
After playing in a variety of bands over the years, a solo debut from a singer songwriter who finally sorted his s**t out and emptied his head into a C.D.. Based loosely on the time he spent bumming around Australia, the Far East and Anywhere Else, here Daydreams Poetry and Punk interweave with Indie Acoustic and Country. Take a trip with "The Backpacker".

"Praise for independent talent by "Rev" Daryl
After an airing on local radio I decided to check out the debut album from Paddy and I was very impressed. As the title 'The Backpacker' would suggest, it holds the feel of a traveller's experiences and hopes set to music. From emotional tracks such as City, to the more lighthearted Legend (Crazy Bus) there is a refreshingly original sound to the album. Despite an independent solo construction the album does not appear light on production values. You can almost see the artists thought provoking hitch-hiking past in a mellow haze. This album is very easy going and I would recommend you try it if you are planning on any backpacking tour of your own! There would seem to be influences of post punk, country and folk all combining to make the perfect lazy summer afternoon road trip tunes".

Essential traveling soundtrack
Top drawer stuff; fans of Dylan, Lennon, Cohen, Cash to name a few will not be disappointed. Instructions for use; plug in mp3, play the backpacker, hit the road. Perfect.

Hi Paddy,

Thanks very much for your letter and copy of The Backpacker. I enjoyed the album and I'll be playing "Legend (Crazy Bus)" on the networked rock show (7-10pm) on 107.8 Arrow FM and 107.5 Sovereign Radio this evening at around 7.20.

All the best

Amazing! "Killer" rocks, "Love Bites Twice" is awesome, but its a "Hitcher's Life" for me.
