Time's Up-Your Move

by Paige Powell

My songs will sympathize, help you think about time and priorities, and give you encouragement. I'll remind you that "Love Never Gets Old," and that to "give the time away" to those we love is never a waste.

Loved the honesty of these songs!
Why don't people do when the light turns green -- was such a great legitimizing of what all drivers notice with some irritation. Why people don't move when the night turns green? Are they on their phones? Probably. Putting it into a song legitimizes that feeling. Its' also a very catchy tune!
And the song about only being able to do two things at once was brilliant. Any busy person knows you can't "multitask" effectively!! Another example of legitimizing thoughts that are mostly unspoken but that free people from feeling bad that they cannot do many things at once. Paige Powell, with her honest lyrics, lovely voice, and great orchestration, exposes the lie of multitasking! Those first two songs on Paige Powell's "Time's Up, Your Mpve' made me so interested in the rest of the album - -of which is good. Paige is a singer/songwriter who writes for all of us today, and writes from a place of honesty and gentleness. What a pleasure to hear her songs!
