Album Notes
This classic love song by Irving Gordon entered Paige’s life through a wedding music request. However, the sheet music for the boy/girl arrangement that matched the Grammy award-winning recording by Natalie Cole with her father, Nat “King” Cole was in the key of F — too high for an alto voice. Paige transposed the song into the key of C, listening painstakingly to the recording for clues to the best chord structures for guitar. Each of the 12 tones of the scale are represented by the many chords in this song (there’s an A, Bb, B, C, C#, D, etc.) although some are inverted. Paige practices this challenging song almost every time she picks up her guitar. Paige’s guitar arrangement is available by contacting her at
