Album Notes
Pale Man Made are: Leon White: Vocals/Guitar, Christianne Ormston: Vocals/Guitar, Chris Lanigan, Karen Forster: Bass.

Pale Man Made make independent music inspired by The Smiths, Joy Division, Galaxie 500, Sleater-Kinney, and The Fall, but have a fresh sound characterised by the unique interplay of boy-girl vocals and bittersweet lyrics.

The band are have finished recording and mixing their first full length album, which will feature 12 tracks of poignant dual-vocal discordant indie pop, inspired by giant squids, broken hearts, snooker, job hate, chaffinches, and psychic powers.

There’s a great deal of excitement around this recording, and the band themselves feel that they’ve got a really special thing on their hands. James Clarke from the BBC Newcastle Northern Uproar show has already requested that the band go into his studio and do a live session once the album is complete.

They are looking to attract label interest, and are touring extensively across the UK to raise their profile in this endeavor.

During Spring/Summer 2008, Pale Man Made will be playing shows in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Lincoln, Glasgow, Norwich, Cardiff and London, including a slot on an exclusive Rough Trade RoTa show.

The band have recently released single, ‘Sea I Am’ from the forthcoming album. This has been played on Mark Riley’s BBC 6 Show, an on BBC Newcastle Northern Uproar show, and has had airplay on Boston College Radio (USA) and on a number of Spanish Stations.
