Album Notes
Larry Toliver began playing guitar at age 17, but once he heard a steel guitar and realized that he couldn’t be NOT playing the steel. He bought a single neck MSA with 1 knee lever and had it on stage in a week. A few months later he bought his first double 10 ShoBud from Bobby Rains and has now played steel for over 30 years. He toured with the band Roanoake, played with Freddy Fender and Mickey Gilley. and in 2014, with Larry Gatlin in Gatlin's play ”The Texas Flyer”. He started the West Texas Steel Guitar School 4 years ago and has drawn students from most of the states in the USA and from several countries around the world.. Larry regularly plays the steel shows in Phoenix, Tulsa, Baxter Springs and Dallas. He also plays with son Kacey, in their band, Wildfire.

Steve Palousek was playing and teaching bass/acoustic/electric guitar at age 14. but the sound of the pedal steel drew him in at age 16 and he has played for 30+ years. Steve has dedicated his life to the study, composition and playing of music. He has toured with some of the greats, such as Ray Price, Gene Watson, Gary Stewart, has been on Austin City Limits, Louisiana Hayride, Grand Old Opry and in too many honky-tonks to mention. He is a composer, session musician, recording/mixing engineer, plays and teaches steel, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, He has received many awards throughout his career and is a Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame member.
