Album Notes
"Tate's strong compositions have lyrics as tough as they are tender, with changes, melodies and hooks memorable enough to make them instant classics, like ‘COUNTING THE HOURS,’ which sounds like an R&B classic that’s been in Delbert McClinton’s repertoire for years." - Stereophile Magazine

Pam Tate's career spans thirty years, performing in venues that range from small cabaret clubs to stadiums of 50,000 fans. Her music fuses blues with rock and jazz, a hallmark of her live performances and CDs - Die Happy, Dancing on the Pyramids, Something Wonderful and, most recently, the EP recorded with her band, Pam Tate & Her Men In Blues, Gonna Get it Right After touring as an opening act for Hall & Oates and The Doobie Brothers, Pam conquered the Blues and Cabaret scene in NYC. Now settled in Nashville Pam has been collaborating with top studio and touring musicians, Bob Hatter, Pete Young and Dow Tomlin. The resulting band Pam Tate & Her Men In Blues, play a take on the blues that is refreshingly unique, blending a sultry and soulful voice with the intensity of rockin' rhythm & blues. Pam's partner in crime in this band is guitarist extraordinaire, Bob Hatter. Bob has recorded and toured with artists as diverse as Randy Houser, T. Graham Brown and Rick Derringer. He often performs with Keith Anderson on the Grand Old Opry and he played and sang on Keith’s two major label releases. He currently spends his days in the recording studios of Nashville as well as performing with local artists. Originally from Chicago, Bob returns to his blues roots playing, writing and recording with Pam Tate & Her Men In Blues.
