ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The perfect mix of Calypso and Reggae adding smooth electric guitar solos. As if Bob Marley and Sade met at a party and danced to UB40 (with steel drums) Perfect album if you like Steel Drum.

If you love Caribbean music featuring the “Steel Drum” and want to go on a musical journey, then Panjive’s first release “Steelin’ For Life” is your remedy. Originating from the “island” of Southern California, this talented group of musicians captivates the listener with their enthusiasm, energy, and style on this record with their own brand of Calypso and Reggae. Whether it’s blending Soca from Trinidad, Reggae from Jamaica, or contemporary rhythms, satisfaction is guaranteed. This album is not to be filed with the rest of your traditional steel drum c.d.s. So kick back, grab a tropical drink,
and enjoy this tribute to some of your tropical favorites.
