Album Notes
Los Angeles psychedelic electro-rock sensation Papillon is delighted to announce the release of its much anticipated second album All Day Tomorrow, a twelve track sonic platform set to take airwaves and urban mindscapes by storm. The band’s catchy melodies, vintage electronics, fuzz guitar and hypnotic rhythms have continued to seduce audiences in Los Angeles, London and Paris in the past few years and fans have been eagerly awaiting Papillon’s follow-up to their acclaimed debut album Soledad and the Patterns On Your Fingertips EP. All Day Tomorrow carves a futuristic path straight out of Serge Gainsbourg and Pink Floyd’s wildest fantasies to lead the listener through a journey towards an extensive range of sensual emotions. While the new album was recorded and produced by the band in its West Los Angeles studio, mixing was performed in Lyon, France by British producer Simon Widdowson (The Decemberists, Lily Allen) and additional production and mastering were conducted by producer Tony Lash (The Dandy Warhols, Quasi).

Papillon was originally formed in Portland, Oregon and is currently operating out of Los Angeles. The group includes Mikael Jehanno (vocals, keyboards), Roger Campos (guitars), Brian Capati (bass) and Nick Mariani (drums). Papillon songs have been featured on Showtime’s dramatic series, The L Word, KCRW/ NPR’s radio show Morning Becomes Eclectic, The Suicide Girls’ DVD Italian Villa, ABC series, What About Brian and more recently on Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State.
