Album Notes
What's missing in today's R&B/hiphop music is the Band concept, Paris Ford is devoted to bringing that era back to the fore-front. In the tradition of when you knew a song by its bass line, such as Chic's "Good Times", Rick James "Give it to me baby" etc,. PARIS FORD Playing Bass on hits from Rick James to Jay Z and everyone in between. PARIS FORD has Re-defined, resurrected a bass line reminiscent of that era. Now he has unleashed another off the chain HipHop/ R&B release, reclaiming the Bass crown pumpin' out another funky Bass line with a 2008' swagga. The Single and Dance Anthem "Chocolate Swirl" also features James Robinson (filling Luther Vandross position as the lead vocalist in the group"CHANGE"), K von, DJ Hype & Sheek Da Freak, with out a doubt will certify another R&B/hip hop classic. With inspiring lyrics "will sho' nuff' get the party started.

PARIS FORD has never been in this for the money and doesn't consider him self an artist just a visionary and the love of playing his instrument and writing songs, He likes the fact that he can ride the subway and not be noticed as he leads a low profile life. He would like to see the Hip hop generation get into playing instruments."If he could influence one kid to play the bass or instrument, that would mean more to him than all the money in the world". In the early 80's as the Bassist for the BB& Q Band (Bklyn, Bronx & Queens Band)with the Gold single "On The Beat" on Capital records also as the youngest member of the legendary Funk group Tyrone Thomas & The Whole Darn Family, in which the group was partly responsible for the succuss of Jay Z, as Jay Z Sampled the groups music for his first double platinum single "Ain't No Negga"f/ Foxy Brown. PARIS FORD has toured, recorded and/or been sampled by: KayGee (of Naughty by Nature), Faith Evans f/ Ja Rule,Vita & Caddillac Tah”, EPMD, Wycleff, Jodeci, The Alcoholics, Grave Diggaz, Mob Deep, Q-Tip, The College Boyz, DrawDown, Rick James, The B.B&Q Band, Johnny Gill, New Edition, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Lenny White, Norman Conners, Lonnie Liston Smith, Micheal Urbaniak, Urszula Dudziak, The Village People, Glen Jones, Vicki Sue Robinson, Jean Carn, Val Young, also playing on many Jingles. Paris Ford defies the fundamental laws of physics when it comes to creating trends not following them. He is truly the epitome of a true pioneer and a force to be reckoned with. HIS NEW RELEASED CHOCOLATE SWIRL is No doubt a club Banga. PARIS FORD Bringing Back R&B To What It Used To Be. To hear Paris Fords perviously released singles from 1982-2002 log on to .

The new 12" single "Chocolate Swirl" got it all. It sounds just great with a deep bass, tasty arrangements, nice rap, bouncy chorus and classy vocals wrapped in a perfect blend of urban hiphip and old skool HipHop/R&B/Funk! The legacy from the 80s is clearly present and gives the track the best from the decade where the x-factor was "too much melody". Paris wrote, arranged and produced the track featuring fellow musicians/vocalist James Robinson (ex. Change member), K-von, DJ-Hype and Sheek Da Freak. The release also includes a lot of different versions that should satisfy everyone out there. Ford's new 12" is a good asset in anyone's music library whether you are an old skool fan or not. The cult factor is unquestionable though, so grab it when you can!
