Album Notes
"Strange Day" is the stunning new album featuring 10 instrumental tracks by guitarist Jay Parmar.

Influenced by acclaimed guitar players such as George Lynch, Steve Vai and Steve Stevens, Jay's playing is reflective of the 80s, but incorporates exotic, eastern and modern sounds to create his own unique blend of instrumental rock.

A combination of passionate and fiery guitar pyrotechnic and creative song writing, the much anticipated release highlights Jay's skills as a guitar player, writer and producer. The songs sound fresh and new, whilst retaining the virtuosity of the 80's guitar giants.

"Jay plays guitar with the passion that is needed to turn heads...Fans of instrumental guitar albums would be wise to check this out...I have heard far worse signed to established labels, so expect to hear more from Jay. 78%" Melodic Rock.com

"I'm not exactly a big fan of instrumental guitar music...I was convinced the album would send me off to sleep somewhere halfway through but much to my surprise it succeeded in holding my attention for the full 43 min. and 55 sec...this is one very talented young man. 70%" Rock Report.be

"Wow! There is a lot to take in listening to Strange Day...you will hear a talented aspiring guitarist on the verge of something big. 7.5/10" Hardrock Haven.com

I really enjoyed Jay's CD on first listen. There is a lot of origionality with a mixture of late 80's early 90's style with a little middle eastern flavor. Nice pace all the way thru, no bordom. Jay is a really cool dude also. I'm ready for more.
