Album Notes
I am a gospel artist who produces music, acappella style. I sing and vocally produce all the musical parts in my songs. All the music and sounds in my albums have been produced by THE HUMAN VOICE and ANATOMY. The human anatomy is used to produce percussion sounds such as clapping, finger-snapping, beatbox sounds and vocal percussions.

The songs on this CD range in styles such as: Contemporary Gospel, Spirituals, Rap, Jazz, Reggae, Traditional, Pop and Scripture songs. All songs have been vocally produced by Wayne Pascall, Copyright © 2006. I hope that the messages will minister to you in some special way to God's glory!

The voice as an instrument...outstanding gospel, accapella here!
'Press On' is a wonderful uplifting album and the neat thing about it is that Wayne is not only the instrument but the entire band as well. This, in short, is a one man acappella album. Every sound is produced by the human voice and anatomy. Nothing else but this is used to produce percussive sounds: clapping, finger-snapping, beatbox sounds that keep the beat and rhythm going. The voice is also the bass instrument.
Now, what about the songs themselves? The album starts off with "Under The Sun", a delicious beginning to a superb collection that also features some neat covers, like the tribute to Louis Armstrong, one of my favorites, "Wonderful World' and "Seasons Of Love" , another fave, from the Broadway musical "RENT". Let me not forget, too, "One Love" a tribute to Bob Marley. Wayne also writes his own songs, and each song, whether it be gospel, or of secular origin, or a combination/adaptation of the two, is inspirational, cheerful: an exuberant outburst, a celebration of life and spirit, put together by a man who has something to share with everyone. If you're looking for something different that will give you an inspirational lift, consider this fine album. Wayne Pascall demonstrates, very clearly, that the human voice and anatomy can produce music that is a pleasure, a joy to listen to. Try it, you just might find yourself liking it.
