Album Notes
Pastor Kaleb and Sister Sari will have you singing along with the Old Lady Choir to these joyous and gritty songs. A Pastor Sings is an album that will help you get through the year. Songs that will pull you from the depths of winter and help you welcome the awe-inspiring arrival of spring. Music that welcomes you back to school, thanks your mother for the time she gave, and tributes the work it takes to get through life.

“For more than a decade, Pastor Kaleb has been shepherding a flock of, in his words, “the defunct and disoriented.” Naturally, Pastor Kaleb is a carpenter. Over the years, he’s attracted a congregation of artists, barflies, writers, and burlesque dancers and learned to walk a fine tightrope between satirizing preacher clichés and actually giving you something to think about.”
12/11/2011, The Stranger

“He hits a rare chord of earnest satire, simultaneously arch and sincere-Pastor Kaleb is a character, and his services are theater, but they’re not a joke. Over the years, he’s preached intermittently for show people, burlesque dancers, musicians and other spiritually thirsty members of Seattle’s arts scene.”
03/27/2013, Brendan Kiley

All songs by Kaleb Kerr; arrangements and music direction by Sari Breznau; recorded, mixed, and mastered by Robb Kunz of Audible Semaphone on March 19th and 20th, 2012.

Pastor Kaleb’s band consists of Zeke Keeble on drums, Jeremy Lightfoot on bass, and Sari Breznau on piano.
