ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"I'm just so glad there is still someone making music like this." -- CD Baby listener review
"Though Pat Nason’s vocals & songs evoke a simpler time, in fact his work is Timeless." -- Jimi Yamagishi, SongNet LA

Pat Nason & The Regular Crew formed in 2014, with Ed Pausic, Susan T. Bull (aka Sue Blue), Houston Cloer and -- for all too brief a time -- Craig Chereek, joining Pat to develop arrangements for his original Americana songs. The Crew disbanded in 2015, leaving a legacy of exciting live shows and the album, ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, co-produced by Pat and Brian Alan Patterson at Sonic Frontier Sound Studio, North Hollywood, CA

The album features an eclectic mix of rhythms (Western Swing, Calypso, straight-ahead Country, Reggae) and outstanding studio work by Brian Alan Patterson (pedal steel), Todd Szabo (drums/percussion), Joe Bull (guitar), David Fry (guitar), and Matt Margucci (harmonica/accordion/piano/percussion). All tracks were mixed by Jason Siler. The album was mastered by Richard Dodd, who has produced, engineered, mixed and mastered projects for Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Delbert McClinton, Wilco and Green Day, earning eight Grammy nominations and five wins. Richard has mastered six platinum albums, including Beyonce's 2016 release, Lemonade.

The collection has 10 tracks, including one composition by Susan T. Bull, Tables. Sue also sings lead on "Twisted Little Things," which was released as a single early in 2015. Houston sings lead on "Falling in Love With You" and does a duet with Pat on "What You Hear In A Love Song." Another duet features Pat and his daughter, Lena, on "I Won't Get Over Getting Over You."

Baltimore-born and based in Los Angeles, Americana singer-songwriter Pat Nason has earned a reputation among his peers for witty lyrics, catchy melodies, solid craftsmanship and true feeling. Pat has been writing and performing for decades, while raising a family and working as a professional journalist. Following his retirement as Hollywood reporter for United Press International, Pat released the EP, NEARLY NEW, in 2014 and followed it up in 2015 with his first full-length CD, ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD.

Mollifying Music
Pat Nason & The Regular Crew has created a record that mollifies my raging spirit. No matter how crappy my day, I get in my car and smile at "Twisted Little Things" and the "Cliche Song." I melt when I hear "Falling In Love With You" and I feel better about this rotten world when I listen to "Everything's Gonna Be Different," which I usually have to listen to twice! I'm just so glad there is still someone making music like this. And I know everyone on my Christmas list will be glad too :-)
