BIOGRAPHY of PATJE (PATRICE JAUFFRET)
Famous French Musician French Pop Songs

Patje was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1970. He is the forth of a 5 children family. His father is French from Marseille and his mother is from both Spanish and Swiss in-heritage. Patje grows up singing and learning music using his own technique for the most. He regularly performs singing with his brother who plays the guitar.

1988 – 2000: Patje develops his crafts as a musician and performer. He performs in several shows and private parties and focuses on his communication gift.

2000: Patje starts writing his songs and is developing his own voice.

2001: Patje starts collaborating with Antoine Debarge, French Composer, Paris France. Antoine Debarge is signed with Scorpio Music, Paris, France 2 years later.

2002: Patje adapts come-back song in French on XYZ hit song “two to tango”, new song is called “Le Sang de Cain”. XYZ is signed in Germany. The song is aired in France and distributed in famous Rock Hard magazine. The band tours in 2003 in the US with the new album and new songs. Patje starts his band called with whom he records his first 4-song album.

2003: Patje starts uniting LA area Francophone artists (jazz, trip up music, rock and more singers, dancers, and photographers) in a the loft of a French designer. For one year they will perform every quarter building a fan base.

2004: Patje starts touring internationally from Switzerland to French Polynesia and from CA to FL in several venues including Club Med and non-profit festival such as Bastille Day and Beaujolais Passions.

2005: Patje plays major French festivals, Bastille Day, Beaujolais, Picnic des Chefs, Soirée Champagne, and more singing his own French repertoire in Los Angeles. Patrice records his first album in English and French with local independent production. Songs are aired on radio in Switzerland and Japan. He starts a promotion tour in France, Switzerland, French Polynesia and the United States.

2006: Patje performs at the very popular Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles and in private parties. The following year, Patrice Jauffret performs at the Shrine Auditorium.
His single Midnight Blues (2006) is distributed and sold on itunes. Distributed also on Jeanne Mas, On Red Rock productions distribution network.

2007: Patje records his new album, “Le Meilleur” in Los Angeles. Patrice fell in love with the United States at a very early age. This album is inspired by his journey in all major cities in the US and in the world. Many of his songs follow his trips around the world such as “Brûlant” in the Joshua Tree National Park, Arizona, in the Southwestern desert. “La Nuit” was inspired from a trip in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. More songs such as Atmosphere and Le Meilleur are written in collaboration with Jeanne Mas. The album is under constrution.

2008 - patje is planning to promote his new album and will open for famous Jeanne Mas in Paris in June at the Trianon, France. Jeanne Mas was the first artist to appear in the French “Top 50” chart, the first woman to perform at the famous hall of Paris and the first artist to receive the music awards of best new singer and best female singer at “les Victoires de la Musique” (the French equivalent of the Music Grammy Awards).
Patje is also booked for Bastille Day and other major events and Francophone venues such as the French American Chamber of Commerce Beaujolais festival in Los Angeles.
