ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the time I began singing at the age of 5, I can remember always wanting to record an album. I was offered an opportunity to do just that by a talent scout from Warner Brothers Records shortly after I was married. When I discovered I was pregnant with our first child, I declined the opportunity.

Since then I always wondered, “What if I had accepted the offer?” I think many of us often reflect on past opportunities, wondering how our lives would have been different.

I don’t regret my decision to decline the Warner Brothers opportunity because I raised four beautiful, healthy children and my husband! I am proud to be a devoted wife and mother; I often said, “A performing career will always be there, but having a family can’t wait.”

After receiving my B.S. in Music Eduation, I was a Music and Drama Educator for over 25 years. I also produced, directed, acted and wrote for theatre while directing music and cantoring at various churches. Now that my children are grown, it is “my time” to share the voice with which God entrusted me for the entertainment of others. Upon meeting the right individuals, I decided to make it happen!

I truly hope you enjoy the unique, original arrangements and my personal interpretations of the classic standards on this CD. Each song that I have recorded is significant either in my life or in the lives of my loved ones.
