These CDs were developed for use with the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course taught by Dr. Bloom, based on the curriculum developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts, and now used in medical and health settings worldwide. However, they can be used by anyone seeking to gain skills in mindfulness practice and by so doing to open the doors to stillness and tranquility. Regular mindfulness practice can alleviate the effects of chronic stress on our bodies and minds, and promote improved health and a better quality of life.
