David A. Reichley

This record represents for me a very high level of playing. I also appreciate that Mr. Neher has chosen to record music other than the standard repertoire for the double bass. With playing this good, I wish the recording had been a little better (a little drier, maybe) - it's OK, but with playing this fluid, it doesn't really matter - interesting music, beautiful tone, spot-on intonation and exceptional playing - I'm humbled and impressed!
