ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Patrick Sampson has been at this for a very short amount of time. After only starting to play guitar in late August of 2014 he fell in love with music as a whole immediately. Within a couple days of watching tutorial videos on YouTube, Patrick was already beginning to write songs and develop structure in his music. His first gig was in April of 2015 in his hometown and since then he has traveled state to state performing his music to audiences all over. Songwriters that have been doing music their entire lives have made comments on how deep and meaningful Patricks lyrics are and how they reach such a diverse audience. From the feel good "Fly Away" written alongside cousin Ryan Felice and father Ed Sampson, to the lonely and haunting "Hero", there is no telling, when listening to this record, what you will hear next. The Bon Iver influenced tune "Nova's Witness" has a mysterious and ethereal vibe that will leave you hovering over your own thoughts. "The Wanderer" is the debut of what is looking to be a long, and prosperous career.
