ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Patrick began taking piano lessons at the age of four. With the encouragement of his instructor, he was composing the following year. He hums all the time. Non-stop. It turns out, those hums have always been the very beginnings of piano compositions. And within two years it was clear that he had a deeper understanding of music than the average kid his age. At just 10 years old, he plays with a passion and emotion that catches the listener by surprise.

His piece, "Light of the Dawn" won the state and regional Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA) composition competition and was one of 7 finalists in the nation for young composers.

He began playing the cello at the age of 9 and is a member of his school orchestra. He was the recipient of the Music in the Mountains Shining Star Scholarship for 2015.

Patrick is currently working on an album that mixes contemporary R&B and hip hop as well as an orchestral version of "To the Beach."
