Album Notes
Patti's music spans multiple styles...from Folk to Country to Blues and Jazz. Her original works have garnered both Local and National Awards. She was the First Place Singer/Songwriter Award Winner in 2016 in the Great American Song Contest and her song "I Don't Do Country" was a honored at The Acorn Theater in Three Oaks Michigan. Her song "Singing Sands" is considered by many to be the theme song for the 65 year-old organization "Save The Dunes" that has worked tirelessly to preserve the natural shoreline beauty and resources of the southern shore of Lake Michigan.
Her songs are poignant and funny and often speak to the social conditions of contemporary life. Patti's voice is lauded for it's clear, bell-like tones and ability to convey emotion and draw the listener into the music. She prefers to write and perform music that speaks to the heart and soul.
The recording took place all over - Rubino's Music, Beartracks Recording and my living room. Contact me if you just have to know who, what , when and where - or anything else for that matter - in fact - let's just get together and talk, maybe sing, have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and solve the problems of the world - or celebrate the changes...
This collection is of olde recordings and new - old songs and new and is still and expression of the truth that everything changes - everything. I thank everyone who helped one the years and listened and enjoyed and I'm still grateful to Vickie Wykoff who gave me the opportunity to make music and money at the same time. "Ghosts" (has been played in Scotland! on the radio!) is dedicated to Erik Balog (RIP) and I am especially grateful to David Cowan, Scott Pazera, Rick Watson and all the musicians who came together to make this music.
