ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"BRINGING ME BACK" was recorded at Sofa King Studios with engineer SEAN McDONALD (The Clarks, Aretha Franklin, Wynton Marsalis, Sinead O'Connor, and Soul Asylum are just a few of the groups Sean has recorded). In addition to Patti's heartfelt, natural vocal style and deliciously fluid guitar work, the CD features outstanding musicianship and songs that reach deep. Songs about discovering what matters most. Standing up and living life from that place. A place of integrity and love; freedom, joy and passion.

THE BAND
PATTI SPADARO's guitar leads cry, sing and wail, with an Eric Clapton meets Jerry Garcia sort of style. She's recorded several CDs and performed all over the country. ERIC KURTZROCK played drums with jazz greats Eddie Henderson (The Headhunters), Barry Finnerty (guitarist for Miles Davis, Brecker Brothers), & Peter Horvath (pianist for Victor Bailey), as well as Chipito Ayeres (Santana), Richard Wright (The Voidoids), Poor Man's Wiskey, David Byrne, Kit Walker, Gary Brown (bassist for Steve Winwood), Kermit Driscol (bassist for Bill Frisell Band), and Jim Kerwin (bassist for David Grisman).

JIM DONOVAN also plays drums on four songs on "Bringing Me Back". Jim was the drummer for the multi-platinum band RUSTED ROOT from 1990-2005. SKIP SANDERS (The Clarks, Bill Deasy) & Jeff Rosenthal play keyboards on the disc. Scooter Tamulinas & Ken Lamison both lend their fine thumping bass style and groove to the CD and live shows. Scooter also plays bass for Bill Deasy and Bill Toms.

Great Music
In her latest album, Patti Spadero writes from her soul and the listener is privy to lyrics which are both emotive and inspiring. Patti’s strong vocals bring home the messages, while the beautifully played guitars, drums and keyboards provide echo to a host of well-known jamrock artists but with an original composition and truly contemporary vibe.
Whether you are the type of listener that is moved to sing out loud with “Live Out Loud”, feel contemplative with “Welcome Love” or appreciate the guitar and keyboards on “Right Here” you will enjoy owning this album. With its release, The Patti Spadero band has demonstrated that they are talented musicians and vocalists able to produce great music to add to any serious audiophile’s collection.
