ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SNAPSHOT BIO / SINGLE NOTES:

Patty grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Loved it. She's lived in NYC for years . . . and loves it even more. Fronting her trio, Patty uses a Les Paul to crank out funky "muscle guitar." (She's also partial to her Guild “Jazz Box.”) Patty and her band have played at such historic NYC venues as The Bottom Line and CBGB. In addition to her original project, she enjoys climbing on stage and playing tasty arrangements of cool covers. Patty has also had the pleasure of singing with scores of world-class NYC musicians — many of whom have become treasured friends and band mates. (Check out pattyspredicament.com for more.) Stylistically, Patty values subtlety over bombast and enjoys blurring the lines of all music genres with soulful simplicity.

“I'm Coming Home:”

Celebrating her family and the memory of rural-life summers with her aunt, “I’m Coming Home” was written by Patty to honor the passing of an uncle who was a third-generation family farmer in Bagdad, Kentucky. This Americana/Gospel track was produced by Andy York (Mellencamp).

Credits: Dave Roe (Johnny Cash, Dan Auerbach): bass. Andy York: guitars, drums, background vocals. Co-written by Andy York and Jeffrey Lee Campbell (Sting/Jon Bon Jovi). Recorded in Nashville and New York City. Mixed at Hobo Sound (NJ) by James Frazee (Bettye LaVette/Esperanza Spalding). Mastered in Los Angeles by Warren Russell-Smith (LA Magic, The Magic Shop).

A special thanks to Hobo Sound, Kieran Blake (Bowery Ballroom) and Annie Ragsdale. Gratitude to Mike Machaby for his support and tube mic assist.
