Album Notes
Peaceful Moments features tranquil piano improvisations recorded in the rolling hills of Sonoma County. This CD was recorded near Occidental on a Steinway concert grand piano. The beautiful tone and peaceful feeling are relaxing and soothing.

Paula has been a bay area musician for over 40 years. Her music career began with Gilbert and Sullivan, Choir, Broadway musicals, and a Rock Band in high school; studying vocal performance, opera and vocal harmony at Chico State and San Jose State; then on to professional soloist, singer songwriter, music director, rehearsal pianist, music teacher in Sonoma County public and private schools, and most recently founder of Singing Sun Records and Music School. (

In addition to producing several student projects and "Latin Sunrise" (a great Latin-rhythm CD featuring 13 of Paula's original songs), she produced a multicultural chanting album "Chanting for Healing and Prayer" in 2001 after 9/11 which benefited 5 different charities -- Oxfam, Global Exchange, Food Not Bombs, Twin Towers Orphan Fund, and RAWA (a group supporting Afghan women).

This new release "Peaceful Moments" celebrates Paula's love of piano improvisation and also benefits these charities.

We thank you for all your support and hope you find some tranquility and love in listening to our new CD.
