Album Notes
This E.P. claims to be "Mercurial" and it certainly delivers a wide variety of musical styles and moods. The songs were written between 2000 and 2003, with original demos being recorded in 2006. The defiant, "I'm Not Gonna Play Your Games Anymore" opens the session, making a majestic stand against a former lover and their mind games. Multi-layered vocals and guitars reinforce the forward-looking, bold sentiments of the lyrics. Nottingham Song is Paul's homage to the town of his birth. Heavily influenced in both lyrical content and musical style by both The Kinks and indeed solo material of both Ray and Dave Davies, Curtis paints a very personal picture of the English Midlands city and its best known landmarks and people. Where Do I Go From Here? is a heart-rending and passionate outpouring following lost love. Not many can say they haven't been there and asked themselves that same question. Finally, we have a true rock 'n' roller, providing the solution to the issues caused by long-distance love, in a bright and optimistic finale to a wonderful E.P.

hi, Paul, it sounds as if to be lovely and $4 is such a meager amount. However, i have, out of necessity, had many banking account numbers changed and will not be able to guarantee a payment ( if not cash) until about August 2 or 3. Please continue to be available and I shall attempt pment with a new debit card for which I am awaiting. Hugs, and Love - now my true birthname - Carrol Angela
