Album Notes
Paul Teneyuque was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He played and sang in several notable West Texas bands and worked as a studio musician before he moved to the Hill Country surrounding Austin, TX.

He embarked on a solo career in 2012. He has since shared the stage with many notable singer songwriters. Their encouragement and advice inspired Paul to record in an Austin studio, Byrdhouse Studios.

He recorded his CD "North of the River" in late 2014 which was released in 2015. Paul's style of music is an acoustic based songwriting style with Texas and Mexican style beats, heart felt lyrics about life, strong melodies, with a nod to early 60's and early 70's pop, folk, rock and country music. Harmonies abound on this CD because Paul loves harmony. He grew up singing with his brothers and sister.

The first song off his CD "North of the River" is Tex-Mex Americana with an acoustic based rock riff, accordion, grito and three part harmony joined in proclaiming the faithfulness of his love to his senorita back home.

The second song " Our Wedding Day" is a romantic ballad duet. with flamenco style guitar and filled with the joy, hopefulness, and love of a couple on their wedding day.

Paul's music reflects the melting pot of cultures in Texas, which became it's own country before it joined the United States.
He hopes you enjoy the music. Salud!
