Album Notes
In Richie's new CD, "Live at the Charles" he has focused more on Blues. The CD was recorded at the Perth Blues Club on the 6th of July 2004.
In his early years Richie would listen to old Blues records and one artist that stood out for him was Huddi Ledbetter (Leadbelly) so on his 3rd album, he has covered some of Leadbelly's songs as well as a Willie Dixon classic "Spoonful" and Leroy Carr's "How Long" to name a few. This is a change from his first two CD's because of its Blues content.
Richie hopes it will bring good listening pleasure to Blues fans and he wishes all a happy life.

Richie's passion for drum rhythm has inspired some original and passionate songwriting. His talent lies in taking the colourful history of percussion then striking it with his own signature. A strong vocal delivery that is fired by powerful lyrics and a restless spirit.

Lyrics on guitar, people, events and spirit inspire Richie to write songs, different rhythm of your feet as you walk leads Richie back home with a song.

His ability as a writer has been given recognition through several songwriting awards, with his material being recorded by a range of artists in the rock and country field. Richie has played on a number of CD's, including*Jovial Crew* Bronnie Gordon* The Hot Biscuit Band*Bob Patient*Gerard Maunick*

Since returning to Switzerland, Richie and his wife/manager have been busy working on this third album
"Live at the Charles", which he released end of October 2004 in Switzerland.

Playing it constantly
Well, another two weeks has gone by and I have just managed to get the new CD out of Lorraine's car so that I can have a listen to it again! She has been playing it constantly for the past two weeks - she's a bit of a Richie fan!

I love acoustic blues
I love acoustic blues and listening to your album was a pleasure for me. You have an interesting, deep voice and good skills on guitar. And what's also important you are a proove positive that acoustic blues can still burn the house down in a club. Good stuff!

It will be my pleasure to play your music in my shows and tell my listeners your story.

Richie, thank you again for beautiful music you've sent me. Let us stay in touch.
