Album Notes
Platinum Dragon17 - Dark Awakening is a story that continues from the Graveyard Shift. After living in a life that was once so dark and cold, he finds himself awake from the life that he once knew. Everything seems different, but at least now he is one step closer to the truth...

Platinum Dragon17 has many musical influences ranging in many different genres. The style that can be mostly heard throughout his music is electronica, industrial, and rock. A few of his favorite artists (some of which you may hear elements of) are:

- Celldweller
- Linkin Park
- Marilyn Manson
- Nine Inch Nails
- Juno Reactor
- Static-X
- Disturbed
- Don Davis
- The Prodigy
- Queen
- Meat Loaf
- Chris de Burgh
- Breaking Benjamin
- Methods of Mayhem
- Michael Jackson
- Savage Garden

He started to create music since childhood by learning how to play the violin. Unfortunately he didn't really enjoy playing the instrument all that much and decided to quit his lessons. He then started to play the keyboard on his own and to this day does not take any lessons. A few years ago he started to work on the computer to create his music, using ACID pH1 and a few MIDI programs to allow him to record his "creations". He found great joy in being able to record and use samples to create a song that he could call his own. This was the beginning of Platinum Dragon17, and he hopes that his experience only grows from here...

Excellent, best I've heard in ages
This cd is fantastic. The music has such feeling and are easily different enough from each other to make listening a unique experience. Great music from a great and rising artist. 5 stars.
