ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Most tracks were made in the beginning of the past decade, which might explain why the style refers a lot to 90s trance, the decade when this genre became hot. I first published some of these tunes in a slightly rawer form on SectionZ.com, the electronic artist music community. One of the trance tracks, Lights And Electrons, was even liked by a trance hater, suggesting that the freshness and strength of the melodies can let the tracks stand on their own, without the need of labeling. Trance these days seems to have become too much of a contest of who has the fattest sound, but original, strong melodies are still scarce on the radio.

The inspired cover art was drawn by Roel Wielinga.
